Join us on March 7, 2026, to celebrate strength and community at an "Evening of Unity: A Celebration of the Arts."

Featuring Grammy Award-Winning Opera Star Ed Parks. Honoring Joyce Sharman.

We will be celebrating all the changemakers in Indiana County, and the immeasurable impact they have created.
This year's honoree, Joyce Sharman, is the shining example of this. She is a steadfast champion for Indiana County and communities across the nation. She has generously donated both resources and heart to improving the lives of others. Joyce has helped strengthen programs vital to meeting basic needs, empowered local organizations, and created lasting opportunities for individuals and families.
Through the years, Joyce's philanthropic leadership has supported initiatives in education, financial stability, health, and community engagement. These investments strengthen the community for years to come. Her willingness to give reflects a true belief in the power of community.
Whether supporting locally, nationally, or inspiring others, Joyce stands as an example of how one person can uplift many. Indiana County is better, stronger and more unified because of Joyce's extraordinary generosity and vision.

Edward Parks

Grammy Award-winning baritone Edward Parks, a native of Indiana, Pennsylvania, hold degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and Yale University. A National Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, Parks trained at the Met's Lindemann Young Artists Development Program and was also awarded third prize in Placido Domingo's Operalia Competition.
Highlights of the current season include his returns to the Metropolitan Opera, both in concert with famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, and as Schunard in La bohème, and to Lyric Opera of Chicago, for A Night of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, a groundbreaking series of concerts with Smashing Pumpkin's frontman Billy Corgan.
During the 2024-2025 season, Ed made his Houston Grand Opera debut as the painter Marcello in Puccini's timeless La bohème and returned to Detroit Opera to sing Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte in a radical new staging by Yuval Sharon. A frequent featured soloist on tour with Andrea Bocelli, he appeared in 16 concerts in arenas and major venues across the United States.
