The United way of Indiana County and student volunteers from Indiana University of Pennsylvania tackled an outdoor community project that helps parents and caregivers support early education for children. The project was completed during IUP's annual 'Into The Streets' community project day on Saturday, April 18th.
The Born Learning Trail at getty Heights Park on Rustic Lodge Road is an interactive experience that provides a fun, easy way for parents, grandparents and caregivers to use outings to build learning that is critical for school readiness. A series of signs offering educational games guides adults on specific ways to create learning games outdoors and suggests tips to use at home.
