Mission Statement
The Open Door is a licenses non-profit behavioral health organization designed to provide treatment and services for substance use and gambling related concerns; impaired driving program; and crisis intervention for Armstrong and Indiana County residents. It is our mission to empower individuals to take steps toward hope, courage, and recovery.
What We Fund
The Open Door's Harmonized Communication Program will use therapeutic drumming as a trauma-informed approach to support individuals in treatment. Trained staff will incorporate drumming into group and individual sessions to reduce stress, build connection, and support recovery. This flexible program enhances traditional care while improving emotional well-being for participants across Indiana County.
