Mission Statement
The Chevy Chase Community Center's mission is to engage the community to empower the disadvantaged population of Indiana County and the surrounding rural communities with love, nutrition, involvement, and to provide a forum for community action, improvement, and development.
What We Fund
The Chevy Chase Community Center Community Meals Program provides hot, nutritious lunches and a welcoming space for community members in need. Serving over 14,000 meals annually, the program also offers access to free groceries and additional support services. It addresses food insecurity while fostering connection, dignity, and a sense of community.
The Chevy Chase Community Center provides an Emergency Foood Program to individuals and families with immediate need.
Customized food boxes include pantry items, toiletries, and dietary-specific options to meet each household’s needs. The program delivers critical support through staff and volunteers, ensuring families have access to essential food and supplies.
